A unit of inquiry is a 5-6 week in-depth exploration of a definite concept. Students will inquire into a central idea or a main understanding by being guided by lines of inquiry and teacher questions.

How the world works - The Earth and the Sun
How we organize ourselves - Economic systems
Sharing the planet - Waste management
Grade 2 students are doing How we express ourselves unit currently. The unit will be over on October 28, 2016. Students will make presentations about "Music and Movement".
Central idea: People communicate culture through music and movement.
The students learn about Music and Movement in different cultures. They will inquire about the ways how people respond to music and movement. They will understand how people use music and movement to express culture.
